I wrote the following at age 15 when I was in Sunday School in 1993. This healing has been permanent. I have not needed an inhaler since that summer fifteen years ago.
April 3, 1993
For about two years, I needed to use an inhaler to help me breathe. Whenever I was doing anything athletic (football, basketball, hiking, running) I wouldn’t be able to breathe. And then I would have to use the inhaler. A doctor called it athletic asthma.
I’ve been learning a lot about God in Sunday School. I use the Daily Prayer to help me. I learned that asthma wasn’t real because God didn’t make it. I know that I reflect Life. And this means that I have strength, stamina, endurance, and energy to play and not run out of breath. Now that I know that asthma is not real, I don’t have to use my inhaler. And when I was at Cedars Camp (summer camp in Lebanon, Missouri) I did all kinds of things without running out of breath.
Daily Prayer by Mary Baker Eddy:
“Thy kingdom come;” let the reign of divine Truth, Life, and Love be established in me, and rule out of me all sin; and may Thy Word enrich the affections of all mankind, and govern them!
